Our team
We’re Eleanor and Matthew — partners in life and in business, with a shared passion for creating homes that are cared for, well-managed, and stress-free for landlords.
Nestays was born from a simple idea: property management should be personal, reliable, and built on trust. We know what it’s like to be on both sides of the letting process, and we treat every home as if it were our own.
Originally from St Albans, Hertfordshire, we recently relocated to the beautiful north of Scotland for Matthew’s aviation career. While we’ve embraced this new chapter, our roots — and strong connections — remain firmly in St Albans and the surrounding areas. It’s still home to many of the properties we manage, and a community we care deeply about.
Eleanor brings a creative eye to the business, with a deep passion for design and a strong commitment to sustainability. She loves creating welcoming spaces that tenants enjoy and landlords feel proud of — all while keeping things eco-conscious and efficient.
Matthew, on the other hand, is our technical expert. With a background as a qualified gas engineer and current work in aviation, he’s hands-on, detail-oriented, and always ready to tackle the practical side of property upkeep and maintenance with care and precision.
